Pair of Bronze and Crystal Temple Form Candlesticks Attributed to Parker & Perry
A fine pair of late 18th Century cut crystal temple form candlesticks attributed to Parker & Perry with Vandyke bobeches and candle cups, with cut-glass drops. The bronze stepped plinthe form bases with cut crystal columns support a faceted crystal and bronze domed 'roof'.
Parker & Perry were commisioned by the Prince Regent to create lighting for Carlton House, including a fifty-light chandelier for th Crimson Drawing Room.
